I've Missed You, I didn't just miss writing ,I missed you.

It brought me joy. Deep, personal joy. And it doubled when you wrote back telling me how a piece helped you see things differently, or taught you something new about your body, your mind, your well-being.

Women Matters
I've Missed You, I didn't just miss writing ,I missed you.

I’ve missed you. I’ve missed writing these wellness blog posts to you.

Not just because I knew you were reading them, but because every time I wrote, I felt like I was passing on something that mattered.

Something that could help.
Something that could heal.

It brought me joy. Deep, personal joy. And it doubled when you wrote back telling me how a piece helped you see things differently, or taught you something new about your body, your mind, your well-being.

Over the past year and a half, many of you have reached out asking: "Why did the blog mails stop?”

I'll be honest, I couldn’t let someone else write to you.
This isn’t just a community, it’s my community.

And I’ve always been too deeply connected to let it become another task to delegate. Some say I care too deeply.  That I’m “too passionate” about wellness.

But behind that passion is a very personal story.

A story I haven’t always shared publicly.

You see, I used to suffer from intense period pain, the kind that would leave me bedridden for days. I couldn’t go anywhere, couldn’t do anything. It felt like I lost days of my life every single month.

The only way I could function was by constantly dosing on pain meds. It was a cycle that left me drained, hopeless, and frustrated. But somehow, through curiosity, research, and small shifts, I found a way out. I found relief.

And once I did, I knew I couldn’t stay silent.

That’s why I started building a feminine hygiene and period wellness brand.

For the past year, I’ve poured everything into it: working with factories across the world, sourcing machines and products, obsessing over every single detail to make sure it could really help women like me.

It consumed me.

And in the midst of that, I just didn’t have the space to write.
But I missed it, missed you.

Now that our products are in major cities across Nigeria and Ghana, and things are a little more stable, I’ve had time to feel what I’ve been carrying all these months: the ache of not writing about wellness.
The silence between us.

A friend of mine (an older man) once told me I was excluding the boy child with how focused I was on this brand.

I get where he’s coming from.

But I also wish he knew what it felt like to curl up in pain for days, unable to function, and not be able to talk to anyone about it.

I wish he knew how many young girls suffer in silence, how many women normalize their pain, and how rare it is to find a space where period wellness is treated with the care and dignity it deserves.

So no, I haven’t been excluding anyone.
I’ve simply been shouting from the rooftops, doing everything I can, with my small but mighty team, to reach the women and girls who need to hear this message.

If you have a wife, a sister, a daughter, a friend, or even a colleague who has ever told you they struggle with painful periods or are confused about feminine hygiene, please, tell them about us.

Let’s lift this burden together. Let’s make the load a little lighter for every woman and girl still carrying it in silence.

With love,
